TeamBSC Triathlon Coaching offers you comprehensive and professional coaching services that are individually tailored to meet your needs.

Before we get started, you can expect to have an initial consultation, either in person or over the phone, where we will talk specifically about your experience in sport, your history, your goals, and your other life commitments. Then, after doing some sport specific testing to find your baselines, I will create individualized weekly training plans for you to follow. Through regular email and phone communication we will be assessing your progress and altering your future training accordingly, putting you in the best possible position to achieve your goals.

I am available on an unlimited basis to help you determine your seasonal racing schedule, including picking appropriate tune-up races along the way to your ‘A’ Goal race(s). I am also happy to consult with you about training and race day nutrition, pacing strategies, injury prevention, time management, and of course, your mindset. I believe it is possible to put it all together!

​Taryn has proven to have the technical skills a coach needs – the background, experience and knowledge necessary to design an effective training plan, improve form and prepare athletes like me to reach their goals. She consistently educates me, responds to my questions and shares articles, videos and feedback that contribute to my progress. She adapts each week’s workouts to balance my personal schedule, athletic strengths, weaknesses and overall goals. She is extremely knowledgeable in many areas from race planning to swim technique to nutrition.

I started in this sport roughly 10 years ago and was contemplating doing another IM after a year of medical setbacks.  I had worked with Michelle previously and immediately thought of engaging Krista as my coach since she was local and continued to progress in her own personal triathlon journey.   Given my situation, both medically and work-related, she assessed my fitness, understood my limitations and set some targets for me going forward.  Krista developed a series of workouts aimed at improving fitness while getting me prepared for my “A” race.   She explained the purpose of the different workout and described how my performance should improve, helping me to understand how my body would react to the various sessions.  Krista is very attentive, interactive and fully understands ALL of the components that are involved in this sport.  From training to nutrition, recovery to the daily stresses of life, I highly recommend Coach K.

I can’t thank you enough for supporting me the way you did or these past few months.  It has been a great journey and a wonderful experience working with you.  There is no way I could have accomplished half of what I have done this without you.  I wanted to do well in both the short course and the long course.  You provided me your insight on how that would effect me.  I said I wanted both and without hesitation you developed a training plan that would yield the best results.  You prepared me for Armed Forces and then immediately shifted focus to the long distance training.  Hawaii 70.3 was frustrating for me but you picked me up dusted me off and re-focused me for my first IM. In preparation for IMCDA you knew when to back off so that I could spend time with the family.  Michelle you are a inspiration and I’m very lucky to have met you.  Not just because of the triathlon coaching but because of your attitude, your dedication, your love for the sport and to your athletes. Thanks for giving me 110% even when you knew I wasn’t giving it back.

Hi Krista!

I’m just now getting a chance to sit down and email you, but I wanted to say thank you for everything you did to make BSC Camp epic! I had a great time! It was a really great experience for me in so many ways. I enjoyed the challenges and pushing myself, but what really put the weekend over the top were the people. I mostly train by myself or with a couple other crazies, so to have this group of serious, hard core (super nice), really knowledgeable triathletes around me to motivate me, push me and, let’s face it, be role models for how it can be done, was invaluable for me. Not to mention damn fun! So thank you!

It was obvious how much time and energy you put into the planning, organizing, details and logistics of the week, the training and the people. I was continually amazed at everything you were juggling and that you did not once lose your shit!  =) So impressive! So, thank you. Thanks for being the organizer, the calm voice, a motivator, for being super nice and a role model all in one weekend!
