TeamBSC Triathlon Coaching offers you comprehensive and professional coaching services that are individually tailored to meet your needs.

Before we get started, you can expect to have an initial consultation, either in person or over the phone, where we will talk specifically about your experience in sport, your history, your goals, and your other life commitments. Then, after doing some sport specific testing to find your baselines, Your coach will create individualized weekly training plans for you to follow. Through regular email and phone communication we will be assessing your progress and altering your future training accordingly, putting you in the best possible position to achieve your goals.

Our coaches are available on an unlimited basis to help you determine your seasonal racing schedule, including picking appropriate tune-up races along the way to your ‘A’ Goal race(s). We are also happy to consult with you about training and race day nutrition, pacing strategies, injury prevention, time management, and of course, your mindset. We believe it is possible to put it all together!

​Training for Ironman can happen one of two ways, and I have experienced both. Either self-guided with good intent to tackle 140.6 miles, or smartly designed for your exact needs to develop as an athlete who performs for 140.6 miles. The latter of the two is exactly what I got thanks to Krista LaPan, and TeamBSC. My hands down favorite perk of being coached by Krista was the time saved from having my workouts planned for me. Additionally, the workouts were not cookie cutter. They were specific to my goals, my schedule, my course and biometrics. I found myself almost craving the instant feedback from Coach K once I uploaded my workout to Training Peaks. Krista’s knowledge and personal drive for triathlon will take you to a new level … no mater what level you are at today!

Michelle is simply passionate about coaching.  She really cares about her athletes, and manages to pull the best out of us using honest feedback, patience, and a sense of humor.  Her training plans are both challenging and confidence building.  I love finishing a workout and being surprised at what I accomplished.  She goes out of her way to make sure that I understand what she is asking of me, and explains the goal of a workout, exercise, or drill.  Since starting with Simmons Endurance Coaching, every goal race has been a PR.  Michelle has been thrilled at my accomplishments (both in races and workouts) and then gently encourages me to go out and achieve more.  I highly recommend her as a coach!

My experience with Krista has surpassed any and all of my expectations!!  As an average runner, I really wanted to see if I had any potential and the ability to qualify for the Boston Marathon!  In the first 2.5 months working with Krista, I improved my marathon time by 11 minutes!  She has taught me the mental, emotional, and physical “science” behind running.  At first I was nervous to let go of my old ways but by trusting her knowledgable and strategic workouts, I only continue to get faster!  Not only will Krista push you to be your very best, she genuinely cares about your personal success.  She was there to run with me the last two miles of the first time I qualified for Boston and I’m so thankful to say I will be running in Boston this year!  She is truly the best coach I have ever had and I look forward to working with her for many more years!!

I continually go back in my mind and remember when I fist met you during your spring IM Camp in AZ.  I was in awe of all the things you discussed that I had no clue about (most of which I still don’t know much about ;).  I started by stating I would love to have you as my coach someday……not because you were what I wanted, but rather you were what I needed.  Well, in hindsight I could not have been more WRONG!  You’re exactly what I wanted and needed! 

I asked that you provide me with a “plug-n-play” strategy/training plan because of my work & family commitments.  You did that with flying colors!  People around me told me you were tough (BSC didn’t derive out of nowhere).  Well, I don’t have that viewpoint.  I don’t think you’re tough at all…I actually think you got the “best” of what I had to offer and you obtained that in the most supportive manner.  Your words of encouragement and positive reinforcement are second to none and vastly appreciated.
